Blackout is proud to announce the return of the 24/7, a chaotic, inspiring celebration of New Mexico’s incredible theatre makers, where you don’t know what you’ll see until the curtain goes up. And this year, we’re thrilled to share the host seat with Theatre 3!

The 24/7 is a proud Blackout tradition bringing together theatre companies, performance ensembles, and schools from across New Mexico for a whirlwind 24 hours of theatre-making. 7 teams assemble Friday night, equipped with one rule that all teams must follow and one prop for another team to use. Each team leaves with 1 prop, 7 rules, and 24 hours to write, rehearse, cast, design, and perform a brand-new 10 minute play.
