Blackout Presents: Santa Beva by Leonard Madrid!

Blackout Theatre Company is pleased to announce the world premiere of a new play by New Mexican Playwright Leonard Madrid.

Santa Beva is a brand-new comedy following Beva Romero, a Bareleña whose normal life turns upside-down when she spontaneously starts performing miracles. She is visited by two rude angels, in the guise of her two favorite cousins, who inform her that she’s going to be a saint. The play is about self-acceptance, New Mexican culture, and the unbreakable bond of primos.

NOTE: The Performance on Sunday, June 7th will be a masked show. In an effort to expand accessibility of arts programming in ABQ, masks will be required for all attendees and non-performers. Blackout will have a limited supply of additional masks available for free!
